It'd be nice if there was a difficulty in between hard and break the limit. However, the gap between hard and break the limit, where in you have to make an input for every single character (or in another sense, every sung syllable), is pretty big and unforgiving. The amount steadily increases through normal into hard. Easy has very few and is a great way to learn the controls. The difference between the difficulty settings is how many characters you have to input during the song. So there's easy, normal, hard, and break the limit. Perhaps the difficulties I have with the controls might be alleviated on the iPad, which has more space to recognize inputs, but I feel like the inherent problem still remains.Īnother problem I have with the game is how the the difficulty settings work.
As a side note, I have the app loaded onto my iPhone 3GS, so the screen area for inputs is pretty small.

In which case, probably getting Project Diva for the PSP would be a better game to choose if you wanted a Miku rhythm game (admittedly a much more expensive choice, but like they say, you get what you pay for). This is more a problem with the hardware, though. Touch control really doesn't lend itself well to playing a rhythm game where you already have to be precise about what you're inputting when. This is made more difficult when you have to swipe in order to access certain characters, which happens with great frequency. A lot of times my inputs won't be recognized correctly, and it's hard to be precise when there's no physical feedback. My main gripe with this game is touch control. It's $14, which isn't cheap, and there are only 13 songs available so it's not a very long game, either. Sorry I'm a little late, but it doesn't seem like anyone who bought the app has posted yet, so I thought I'd speak up.įirst, would I recommend this app or not? To be honest, I probably wouldn't.
